Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher at Growing Together Behavioral Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a small group of students with disabilities, specifically focusing on 2nd-3rd grade level school-aged individuals.

The role involves effective communication with students, families, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment, lesson planning using a specialized curriculum, and other typical teacher responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • Experience in teaching students with disabilities and special education
  • Knowledge of elementary level instructional strategies
  • Strong communication skills to interact with students, families, and staff
  • Passion for helping neurodiverse individuals achieve their full potential
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (recommended)
