Auto Damage Claims Adjuster

As a key member of our team at Progressive Insurance, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and fair compensation for their auto damage claims. This is a field-based position that requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage your own inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to determine the extent of damage and estimate repair costs
  • Negotiate repair processes with body shops and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective resolutions
  • Document all claim information and make decisions consistent with claims standards and local laws
  • Evaluate and handle claim payments and resolution of claims without payments
  • Review and determine validity of any supplement requests
Requirements:
  • A minimum of four years of relevant work experience, or an associate's degree and three years of experience, or a bachelor's degree and one year of experience
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and compliance with Progressive's driving standards and policies
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $69,600 - $85,000 per year
  • A gainshare bonus up to 16% of eligible earnings based on company performance
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar company match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and wellness programs
