Claims Adjuster

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team at Progressive Insurance. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving bodily injury claims in a fair and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Making coverage decisions that determine the extent of Progressive's liability
- Gathering details through interviews and investigations regarding those injured in an accident
- Settling unrepresented bodily injury claims
- Calculating benefit payments and approving payment of claims within a defined monetary limit
Requirements
- Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
- Associate's degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
- Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handling
Preferred Skills
- Auto and/or commercial insurance experience
Compensation
$67,725 - $68,300/year
Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
