About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Trading and Operations Associate to join our team at AdvisorNet Financial. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for executing trades, reporting, and rebalancing portfolios using our trading software. You will also serve as a point of contact for advisors' questions, concerns, and inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between advisors and our operations team, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Execute trades, reconcile accounts, and rebalance portfolios in accordance with established procedures and deadlines.
- Support the onboarding process for new advisors, ensuring a seamless transition and providing necessary training and resources.
- Partner with advisors to provide recommendations on proposal requests, responding directly to their inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client and workflow-related tasks and communications in our CRM database.
- Collaborate with marketing and compliance teams to communicate investment strategies and portfolio updates to advisors and clients.
- Support the Global Investment Performance Standards reporting and verification processes, utilizing our trading and reporting software.
- Identify and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, consistency, and quality of information, reducing errors and improving overall performance.
- Meet or exceed established department metrics and contribute to the growth and success of our operations team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of investment operations experience, with a strong understanding of trading software and systems.
- FINRA registrations – Series 7 and 66 required.
- Advanced experience with Tamarac or similar systems, with proficiency in NetX360, Envestnet Tamarac, Opturo, Salesforce, Albridge, Morningstar, YCharts, or similar investment technologies.
- Strong professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle pressure and demanding situations with tact and confidence.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, effectively resolving conflict and mitigating risk.
- Ability to work independently with effective time management, organization, and problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and make sound judgments with integrity, professionalism, and empathy.
