Job Title: Maintenance Engineer I

At Sage Hospitality Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer I to join our team at the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems
  • Respond to guest requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor and maintain all engineering functions, including weekends and evenings
  • Conduct regular rounds of the hotel property to ensure everything is in working order

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent trade school, with special courses in building maintenance and construction
  • Minimum of 6 months successful experience in a similar position
  • Ability to maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
