Job Summary:

The Tesoro Group is seeking a skilled Billing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate payments from clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the creation and distribution of invoices to project managers for updates and approvals.
Complete and obtain signatures on lien waivers, and re-distribute them to project managers and clients.
Respond to daily emails and questions received in our accounts receivable inbox.
Update client records in Deltek Vision to ensure accurate invoicing instructions.
Assist with monthly monitoring and follow-up on outstanding A/R balances.
Support project managers and clients with billing questions and issues.
Help with month-end reporting and statements.

Requirements:

Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but not required.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines is crucial.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective team member who displays initiative and acts with integrity.
Strong Microsoft Office applications knowledge, specifically Microsoft Excel.
