Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Washington DC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with experience in design, development, and implementation of quality control / assurance systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Assist in the design and implementation of quality control / assurance systems, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and regulations.
  • Technical Referrals: Review and validate technical referrals in accordance with established processes, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Performance Data: Analyze performance data and develop Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) models, utilizing advanced analytical techniques to drive business decisions.
  • Leadership: Lead and direct the work of more junior contractor employees, mentoring and guiding them to achieve their full potential.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Apply creativity and innovation to solve complex engineering problems, developing novel solutions that drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in a related position, with a strong track record of success in mechanical engineering.
  • Education: Baccalaureate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
