Job Summary:

The Client Finance Manager is a trusted member of the Client Finance department, partnering with Account Management teams to oversee all financial aspects related to a given client or group of clients.

This role assists the CFO and Directors of Finance to ensure financial controls and policies are in place and followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Account Management/Contracts
  2. Learn specifics of client Master Service Agreements and SOWs to ensure all contractual obligations are disseminated and followed
  3. Create staff plans and price projects
  4. Prepare labor reports and provide utilization analysis
  5. Coordinate with client and billing teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
  6. Review monthly client budgets and actuals with Account to verify billing, revenue recognition, under-servicing/over-servicing of staff plans
  7. Review Account Receivables and WIP reports regularly
  8. Ad hoc reporting requests from Account and Project Management
Financial Reporting/Analysis
  1. Prepare month-end revenue calculations and journal entries for respective clients.
  2. Prepare monthly/quarterly results packages and review with Finance management and Account teams.
  3. Explain any variances in revenue results vs forecast.
  4. Work with regional controllers as needed for revenue recognition and internal/external audit preparation
  5. Assist with monthly and quarterly revenue forecasting
Administrative
  1. Learn and uphold time reporting, job maintenance, and estimating processes to ensure consistency across clients in SAP/Fiori systems
  2. Maintain all company level and client level rate card functionality in SAP to facilitate labor reporting and revenue recognition.
  3. Collaborate with Financial Process & Systems teams to resolve errant time posting and job closing issues
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 3-5 years of experience in a client finance role having regular exposure to financial concepts such as revenue recognition, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable.

Familiarity with media/advertising/creative agency business models highly preferred

Proficient in advanced Excel functions and formulas to perform VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts, and SUMIFs.

Basic to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Knowledge of SAP systems preferred

Experience extracting data from financial reporting systems and databases, compiling this data into digestible insights, and communicating those insights to non-financially-minded team members.

Strong organizational and time management skills prioritizing the workload of regular deliverables and ad-hoc requests

Self-reliant and able to manage time and deadlines independently with strong attention to detail.

Office Requirements:

The New York City Pay Transparency Law requires employers in New York City to disclose the following information. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 .

Actual salaries will vary and be based on various factors including but not limited to budgetary and market consideration, as well as an applicant's background experience, pertinent/specialty experience, qualifications, and tenure in role/similar role.

FCB has adopted a hybrid working environment. It is required for employees to be in office Tuesday-Thursday and can work from home Monday and Friday.
