Job Summary

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to lead construction crews onsite, setting standards and driving project progress.

About the Role

  • This position requires advanced construction experience, leadership skills, and the ability to train others.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in water/wastewater or heavy civil construction.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred, English required.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • This role involves managing the project schedule, coordinating daily with the project manager and crew.
  • Reports daily progress and maintains records, logs, and visual documentation of work completed.
  • Coordinates manpower and adjusts crew size as needed for project requirements.
  • Ensures materials are defect-free, inventories deliveries, and oversees temporary site facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads crews on installations of process piping, equipment, concrete, and architectural features.
  • Builds projects under $7.5M, such as lift stations, well sites, retrofits, and job order contracting.
  • Schedules and coordinates inspections, maintains compliance, and enforces quality and safety standards.
  • Reviews work packages, project plans, and shop drawings, ensuring field installations meet project specifications.
  • Maintains as-built drawings and assists in generating RFIs with solutions for project clarity.
