About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Equity LifeStyle Properties. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the Property Manager in all aspects of property management, serving as a liaison between our office and guests and residents with respect to maintenance and other issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Respond to questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all guests and residents receive exceptional service.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Schedule maintenance calls and generate work orders for the repair of buildings and grounds, ensuring that all maintenance requests are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Property Manager, including processing new applications for long-term residency, managing petty cash accounts, and performing general administrative tasks.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist the Activities team with hiring entertainment, purchasing supplies, and managing ticket sales for events, ensuring that all events are well-planned and executed.
  • Financial Management: Manage calendars, perform general administrative tasks, and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in on-site property management, with a solid understanding of customer service principles and building structures.
  • Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other web-based applications, including email and financial systems, as well as experience performing administrative tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Personal Qualities: Meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record and current auto insurance.
