This position is based within the Transportation Security Administration.
Primary Duties Include:
- Maintaining accurate records of training completion.
- Ensuring the availability of essential resources and training materials for upcoming sessions.
- Addressing inquiries and concerns from stakeholders regarding security matters.
- Managing the collection of performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Developing staffing models based on metrics such as throughput projections and training requirements.
- Coordinating emergency scheduling related to screening operations.
- Conducting thorough analyses of potential conflicts between airport procedures and TSA policies.
- Providing status updates and planned activities to airport management.
- Offering advisory services to management as needed.
- Performing financial reconciliations and auditing records.
- Tracking financial reports to keep management informed of expenditures.
- Collaborating with management to effectively communicate TSA policies and directives.
- Overseeing customer service inquiries.
- Generating work schedules that incorporate both full-time and part-time staff.
- Monitoring daily staffing levels and attendance.
Requirements:
Conditions of Employment:
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National status is required.
- A favorable Background Investigation (BI) must be completed.
- Selective Service registration is mandatory.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must have:
Experience:
One year of specialized experience at a comparable level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized experience includes involvement in at least two administrative functions such as procurement, record auditing, training scheduling, and facilities planning.
Education:
A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field; OR three years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR an LL.M. if applicable.
Combination of Experience and Education:
Combinations of graduate-level education and experience may be utilized to meet total qualification requirements.
