**Job Summary**

Under the supervision of the clinic manager and the general supervision of the clinic providers and licensed nursing staff, performs work that requires specific knowledge and training in patient care duties within the business and profession code of the State of California and/or the regulations of The Joint Commission (TJC).

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Scheduling patient appointments and associated patient system screens
  • Accurate billing and financial management
  • Environmental care functions, including cleaning and disinfecting
  • Equipment and supply management
  • Initiative and ability to prioritize demands
  • Teamwork and collaboration with healthcare professionals

**Requirements**

  • BART or BLS certification at time of hire, with commitment to obtain BART within six months
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or completion of a Medical Assistant training program
  • Knowledge of medical terminology

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Ability to be flexible with varying demands in a small specialty clinic
  • Teamwork-oriented and collaborative mindset

**Special Conditions**

  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs
  • Employment subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical

**Compensation**

Annual Full Pay Range: $56,000 - $56,000 (prorated if appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $26.82

Factors in determining compensation include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure, and certifications, as well as business and organizational needs.
