Job Summary

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee and espresso drinks, as well as maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks to customers, using standard measures and recipes.
  • Enter orders accurately into the POS device and handle cash and charge payments.
  • Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies, while maintaining the cleanliness of the service area.
  • Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
  • Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
  • Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards.
  • Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
  • Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
  • Greet customers courteously and interact in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction, relaying relevant concerns to supervisors.
  • Serve customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers.
  • Serve as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer, establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process.
  • Ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards, serving food neatly and attractively per standard.
