IMMA Lactation: A Leader in Inclusive Lactation Support

We are seeking a part-time International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) to join our team at IMMA Lactation. As a lactation specialist, you will provide compassionate and informed lactation support to parent-infant dyads through in-home, in-office, and telehealth sessions.

Key Qualifications:
  • Active/fully Certified IBCLC
  • Minimum 1-2 years clinical experience
  • Private practice work experience
  • Fully vaccinated or willing to become vaccinated within 30 days
  • Reliable transportation and a clean, valid driver's license
  • Availability of at least 7-10 hours weekly, including weekends
  • Ability to do home visits within a 20-25 minutes radius
Responsibilities:
  • Train under existing IMMA Lactation team to learn the practice's ethos and clinical framework
  • Assess parent-infant dyads, chart appropriately, and intervene within the IBCLC scope as needed
  • Create lactation visit care plans that reflect patient/family needs
  • Communicate with patients/families about scheduling, care plans, and modifications
  • Practice complete HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Work sporadic weekends if consult requests come up
  • Maintain credentials and stay current with lactation continuing education credits
