Pediatric Lactation Specialist

Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is a leader in pediatric and adolescent health, dedicated to creating hope and building healthier futures. We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Lactation Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and plan patient, family, and staff education related to human milk feeding.
- Develop and implement lactation programs and services to support breastfeeding mothers and their infants.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support for patients and families.
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience as a licensed/registered professional and/or Lactation Consultant in pediatric acute care setting.
- Basic knowledge of patient care principles, equipment, and CHLA patient care policies and procedures.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification.
- Registered Dietitian, Registered Nurse, Registered/licensed Occupational Therapist, or Speech and Language Therapist credentials.
Compensation and Benefits:
CHLA offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $64,000 to $116,563.20, and a robust benefits program to meet your needs.
