About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at One Medical. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collecting blood samples for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture techniques
  • Perform and assist with extended scope duties such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
  • Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, answering patient messages, following up on lab cases, and assisting providers and virtual medical team with clerical duties
  • Use impeccable C-I-CARE skills in all patient interactions and ensure a fluid and positive in-office experience through patient intake, same day schedule management, and follow-up scheduling

Requirements:

  • An active phlebotomy certification to practice in WA and at least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in computer technology such as typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously
