Position Overview:

The Mortgage Loan Officer plays a crucial role in the loan production process by gathering necessary information to accurately complete mortgage loan applications while adhering to the lending policies and regulations of Allegiance Credit Union.

Work Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with occasional nights and weekends required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Cultivate relationships with potential members, real estate brokers, builders, and community organizations to drive mortgage loan business.
  • Loan Interviews: Conduct thorough interviews to formalize loan requests, ensuring that all necessary information and documentation are accurately collected and communicated.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in community events, representing Allegiance Credit Union and promoting its products and services.
  • Member Assistance: Provide support to members through various communication channels, addressing inquiries about lending products and resolving issues within authority.
  • Documentation Compliance: Prepare required disclosures promptly and maintain communication with all parties involved in the loan process, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Essential Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional member service are vital for success in this role.
