Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fleet Operations Specialist to join our Operations & Analytics Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the operations of our rapidly growing Linear Generator fleet. This includes remote operation, troubleshooting, and leading incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Linear Generator fleet, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and communication platforms to enhance fleet performance and customer experience.
  • Deliver high-quality analytics to the Service, Engineering, and Sales Teams on fleet availability, performance, and connectivity, as well as NERC metrics and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Operations & Maintenance team to optimize scheduling and execution of planned and unplanned service activities.
  • Identify and train new team members for the rapidly growing business unit.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex troubleshooting problems and independently make right decisions under high pressure situations.
  • Previous experience with systems engineering (electro-mechanical, mechatronics, energy systems).
  • Experience with data engineering or data analytics (e.g., time-series data, cloud tools, dashboards, industry standard tools, or custom tools of your own).
  • Demonstrated interest and ability in development of automated software tools and processes (Python preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain highly disciplined operations and training processes.
