Job Summary

The Lead Wellness Advisor at Sunnyside will be responsible for advising customers on selecting the proper cannabis products for their needs, while acting as an ambassador of our company's mission. This role requires strong customer service skills, product knowledge, and state compliance expertise to ensure a best-in-class experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in selecting cannabis products and provide education on their varying impacts on the human body
  • Apply effective selling and cross-selling techniques to build customer baskets
  • Verify proper documentation and ID for customers
  • Assist in verifying the accuracy of orders and perform bag and receipt checks
  • Label and package customer orders
  • Perform accurate cash handling and troubleshoot technical issues in the POS system
  • Maintain accurate records of dispensary activities, including customer records, sales, deliveries, and returns
  • Perform routine inventory counts and ensure product stock meets compliance regulations
  • Assist in keeping the store organized and clean, and ensure security measures and safety compliance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, with cannabis experience preferred
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including opening, closing, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with customers
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and product-related information
  • Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds
