Your Role

As a Senior MEP Construction Supervisor, you will oversee field operations and manage onsite construction for design-build projects. Your primary focus will be on ensuring quality control for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, as well as overseeing the startup and testing phases of complex projects across the nation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with preconstruction, design, engineering, procurement, operations, safety, quality, and all project management team members to ensure sufficient project resources are available.
  • Direct and supervise the activities of MEP/FP subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Manage MEP/FP related materials, systems, and shop drawings submissions.
  • Oversee MEP/FP RFIs, field modifications, and other engineering-related tasks.
  • Administer MEP/FP Quality Control, Start-up and Energization, Pre-Functional Checklists, and Functional Performance Testing.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent trade experience with progression to management levels.
  • 10+ years of experience in high-tech commercial/industrial construction management, particularly on projects exceeding $10 million, ideally with design/build experience.
  • Proven ability to supervise construction teams and subcontractors to achieve project goals within budget and schedule.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality with an excellent project safety record.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate as necessary.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Physical capability to navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and scaffolding, and the ability to lift objects weighing at least 60 lbs.
