Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead the HR functions across all Eide Automotive Group locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for building and sustaining a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the HR operations for all Eide Automotive Group locations in North Dakota and Minnesota.
- Partner with dealership leadership teams to understand business needs and align HR strategies to support company goals.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts to attract and retain top talent across multiple locations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Manage employee relations, providing guidance and resolution of issues in a fair and consistent manner.
- Oversee performance management processes, including appraisals, coaching, and employee development programs.
- Lead and support training and development initiatives for staff at all levels.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and equity across all locations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe workplace.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries, payroll, benefits administration, and HR-related issues.
- Collaborate with management on organizational changes, workforce planning, and employee engagement strategies.
- Ensure proper handling of employee data and maintain HR systems and records with the utmost confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources management, preferably within a multi-location or dealership environment.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations across North Dakota and Minnesota.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple locations.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support the HR needs of all Eide Automotive Group dealerships.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Location & Travel Requirements:
The position is based in Bismarck, ND, with occasional travel to our locations in Mandan, ND, Pine City, MN, and St. Cloud, MN.
