We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Care Specialist to join our Adolescent Mental Health team at Avera.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care to adolescents and children facing various mental health challenges. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be part of a structured and therapeutic environment that fosters healing and development.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to adolescents and children in our Behavioral Health Adolescent Unit
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices in adolescent mental health
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of South Dakota
  • 1+ year of experience working in a behavioral health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
