Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director, Global Market Access Lead to join our team. As a key member of our commercial organization, you will play a critical role in developing and executing global market access and payer strategies for our pipeline indications and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Access Strategy Development
    • Develop innovative and impactful access strategies for Argenx, aligning with our company's value proposition and market needs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of market access strategies.
  • Pricing and Reimbursement
    • Develop initial global pricing strategies and indication sequencing for pipeline indications and assets.
    • Work with global development teams and Regulatory Affairs regional teams to optimize trial designs and ensure payer requirements are met.
  • Contracting and Negotiation
    • Develop innovative contracting strategies and offers to bring value to customers and the company.
    • Partner with HEOR and Regional Market Access teams to identify unmet medical needs and generate data to support value story narratives.
  • Capability Building
    • Build and develop the Market Access and Pricing mindset among global development teams.
    • Monitor market landscape for emerging trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Pipeline and Portfolio
    • Drive development of global market access and payer strategies for pipeline indications and assets.
    • Oversee launch sequencing based on market and payer insights.
Requirements
  • Market Access Leadership Experience
    • 10+ years of experience in marketing and/or relevant commercial experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
    • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage, influence, and develop across teams and global markets.
  • Business Acumen
    • Proven success developing pricing and market access strategies globally.
    • Broad product-commercialization/marketing acumen including demand generation, market segmentation, digital marketing, strategy development, and competitor assessment.
  • Education and Qualifications
    • BS/BA degree (science or business degree preferred); MBA preferred.
