Position: Package Scanner

The Package Scanner plays a vital role in the logistics process by scanning completed orders, accurately logging them into our system, and organizing them for the appropriate shipping provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scan all packages prepared by production teams for shipment
  • Collect packages from various departments on a daily basis
  • Manage loading and unloading of deliveries
  • Ensure all packages are accurately recorded in the system
  • Sort packages into designated bins based on shipping providers
  • Support other areas within the Inventory and Shipping and Receiving Department as needed

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in using computers and software for package logging
  • Experience with handheld barcode scanners

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Previous experience in a production or warehouse setting is preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and engage in frequent bending or stooping
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds
  • Visual ability to read instructions and operate computer systems
