Work Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts


Position Summary:

Maverick Helicopters, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic role. This position is crucial for maintaining the operational integrity of our helicopter fleet.

Successful applicants will be responsible for executing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks. Duties include diagnosing issues with airframe, engine, and electrical systems, as well as replacing engines, transmissions, and other critical components as needed. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor, and some overtime may be necessary.

  • Preferred experience with Airbus EC130 helicopters.
  • Strong knowledge of helicopter airframes and engines, along with advanced troubleshooting capabilities.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in paint application and preparation.
  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication and repair.
  • Knowledge of carbon fiber and fiberglass composite repair techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret and utilize aircraft manuals effectively.
  • Competent in documenting maintenance work in compliance with regulations.
  • Effective time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated decision-making abilities and mental alertness to maintain safety standards.
  • Must maintain good physical condition.

Experience Requirements:

  • Preferred experience with Airbus EC130 maintenance.

Certifications:

  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P) required.
