Maintenance Technician

Gibbs Die Casting is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and assign production machine uptime to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Perform continuous improvements in the department to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Complete PM's per maintenance department specifications to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Inform the Maintenance Technician Lead or Shift Managers of any down machines to ensure prompt attention.
  • Fulfill parts requests for any necessary parts to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Conduct daily checks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Perform torque and leak tester verification procedures to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
  • Document all work done in MP2 for accurate record-keeping.
  • Communicate with the shift Maintenance Technician Lead on work priorities and end-of-shift follow-up to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Collaborate with incoming and outgoing maintenance technicians to address problems and issues encountered during the shift.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance, adhering to scheduled work hours and overtime as assigned.
  • Meet all physical and environmental requirements for the role.
Requirements:
  • Working on or possessing an Associate's degree or Certificate from a two-year College or technical school in Maintenance.
  • Electrical training is a plus.
  • Two or more years of industrial maintenance experience can be considered in place of the Education Requirement.
  • Authorized to work for an employer in the U.S. (we cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time).
