PennState Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Level I to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standardized imaging procedures, setting up and adjusting related equipment and devices, and maintaining related records under the direction of the Senior Imaging Staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Develop and process radiographic images, ensuring high-quality results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) or registry eligible.
- Pass ARRT boards within 6 months of the date of hire.
