Middlesex Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Primary Care Float Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply the nursing process with patients and families, integrating principles that reflect sensitivity to their age-specific/developmental needs, gender, culture, religion, psychosocial and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Provide evidence-based, holistic care in a manner that respects the worth and dignity of each individual.
- Practice professional nursing as a licensed practical nurse within the legal and ethical framework established by the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health needs and develop effective care plans to address their physical, emotional, and social needs.
Requirements:
- A licensed Practical Nurse who is a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, currently licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut.
- Has the knowledge and skills necessary to assess health needs of patients and to perform nursing care in a safe, caring manner.
