Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our Internal Medicine team at Garnet Health Medical Center. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading an interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the success of our health system.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and continuing care to patients in Garnet Health Medical Center
  • Lead an interdisciplinary team of primary care givers and administrative support staff
  • Display the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct
  • Act in the best interest of Garnet Health Medical Center
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree with recognized internal medicine residency (three years minimum) or ABFM-recognized family medicine residency (three years minimum)
  • Professional clinical experience in primary care practice in either family medicine or internal medicine
  • NYS Medical License, valid and unrestricted
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice achieved within Five years of completion of residency
  • Current and ongoing BLS certification
  • NY State DEA Certification, valid and unrestricted
  • Current NY State Opioid Prescriber Certificate
  • Current Infectious Certificate
Working Conditions
  • Works primarily inside and may occasionally work outdoors
  • Frequent contact with various Garnet Health staff, sales representatives, employees and community members
Physical Demands
  • Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push over 75 lbs
Mental Demands
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to organize and synthesize new information
  • Ability to prioritize tasks

The salary range for this role is $242,857 through $290,569 annually. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
