Join Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. as a Youth Advocate and make a positive impact on the lives of youth and families in Philadelphia. As a Youth Advocate, you will serve as a role model and provide direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families. Your responsibilities will include initiating, organizing, planning, developing, and implementing service plans based on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model. This is a part-time, hourly position with flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, mileage, and activity reimbursement. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, experience in community work, and knowledge of community resources. You will also need to be able to work with diverse populations in a collaborative and culturally sensitive manner. Bi-lingual/Spanish speaking applicants are highly encouraged to apply. This position requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance coverage.
