Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Azure Govt Cloud Infrastructure, including hands-on troubleshooting, implementing, and configuring solutions. Additionally, the candidate should have experience as a track, tower, or project lead with direct supervision of team members, as well as strong communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cloud environment health checks, including monitoring critical services and health of cloud services.
  • Start, stop, and reboot virtual machines as per planned activities.
  • Create and delete snapshots.
  • Implement cloud compliance policies as per BV corporate standards.
  • Manage backup of production and non-production workloads as per BV policies.
  • Perform operational tasks, including creating, modifying, and managing subnets, route tables, and network access control lists.
  • Launch and delete virtual machine instances.
  • Create, delete, and synchronize storage blobs.
  • Attach and detach volumes.
  • Create, attach, and detach auto-scaling groups, load balancers, managed disks, and virtual machine images.
  • Manage user and group policies.
  • Set up auto-scaling with load balancers.
  • Maintain existing reporting.
  • Manage and analyze log metrics.
  • Manage access keys and security certificates.
  • Edit DNS records and domain configurations.
  • Disassociate virtual networks with hosted zones.
  • Prepare various utilization reports and share with stakeholders as per agreed timelines.
  • Identify cloud optimization themes and levers and execute them as part of operations leveraging FinOps framework.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective actions in accordance with policy.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $100K to $120K, depending on location and experience. Additional forms of compensation may be provided as part of overall compensation, including an annual performance-based bonus and sales incentive pay.
