Senior Property Claims Adjuster

This is a remote position with Powelson Consulting, a recruiting firm with a large variety of positions in many industries throughout all 50 states.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a Senior Property Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for providing a consistent positive and satisfying claims experience for our clients through the proper investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of property claims.

• Investigate claims by determining applicable policy coverage, evaluating, negotiating, and settling assigned claims.
• Initiate contact with insureds, claimants, and all relevant parties to gather basic information, obtain recorded statements (when necessary), and explain the overall claims process.
• Complete physical and/or virtual inspections of damaged property (when necessary), evaluate damages, and prepare written estimates according to policy provisions and liability.

• Claims adjusting experience, preferably working as a full-time employee for a carrier (insurance company).
• Must live in the territory (Northern Minnesota).
• Strong technical skills, including Xactimate.
• Preferable skills: construction background, restoration experience, drone experience.
