About the Role

This is a remote position with Powelson Consulting, a recruiting firm with a large variety of positions in many industries throughout all 50-states.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Field Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a Senior Property Field Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for providing a consistent, positive, and satisfying claims experience for our clients through the proper investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of property claims.

You will learn how to use innovative technologies, such as drones for property inspections, and virtual claim handling software to lead our clients safely and expertly through the claim process.

This position allows full-time field work within the territory for this position, which includes St Cloud, Brainerd, and Northern Minnesota, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate claims by determining applicable policy coverage, evaluating, negotiating, and settling assigned claims.
  • Initiate contact with insureds, claimants, and all relevant parties to gather basic information, obtain recorded statements (when necessary), and explain the overall claims process.
  • Complete physical and/or virtual inspections of damaged property (when necessary), evaluate damages, and prepare written estimates according to policy provisions and liability.
Requirements
  • Claims adjusting experience, preferably working as a full-time employee for a carrier (insurance company).
  • Must live in the territory (Northern Minnesota).
  • Strong technical skills, including Xactimate.
  • Preferable skills: construction background, restoration experience, drone experience.
