Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Thermal Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, simulating, and validating the thermal performance of microelectronic devices and systems. Your expertise will help us create cutting-edge vehicles that not only perform exceptionally well but also minimize their environmental impact.

Responsibilities
  • Architect and design thermal systems for microelectronic devices and systems
  • Model thermal systems for thermal response simulations
  • Perform transient and steady-state thermal response simulations
  • Measure thermal performance with varying power user cases
  • Define and characterize thermally enhanced materials and processing for hardware components and systems
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's or PhD degree preferred
  • 12+ years of hands-on experience in thermal analysis and thermal measurement
  • Fundamental understanding of thermal conduction, convection, and radiation
  • Experience with Python, MATLAB, or C++ coding
  • Experience with Ansys Icepak, Flotherm, or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Cadence Allegro, Redhawks SCET, CAD tools, and Ansys mechanical simulation tools
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
