Neuro Trauma Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 23-bed intensive care step-down unit at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a RN Neuro Trauma Unit, you will provide direct patient care and administrative support to our team, working closely with the clinical team to create and implement a care plan that meets each patient's unique needs.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including titrating and vasoactive IV-drips, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions as appropriate.
- Manage patients with high-risk surgeries, ortho, and trauma-related surgeries in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Instruct and educate patients and family members on their care and treatment plans.
- Coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License.
- BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross).
- Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia within 3 months from hire.
- PCCN Certification (preferred).
- TNCC Certification (preferred).
- TCAR Certification (preferred).
