We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Neuro Trauma Unit at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a RN Neuro Trauma, you will provide direct patient care and administrative support to our 23-bed intensive care step-down unit.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with high risk surgeries, ortho and trauma related surgeries, and stroke and trauma conditions.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
- Instruct and educate patients and family members on their care and treatment plans.
- Coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License.
- BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross) certification.
- Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia within 3 months from hire.
- PCCN, TNCC, and TCAR certifications preferred.
