Child Psychiatrist

Swope Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Child Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric services to children and adults, utilizing a variety of methods to evaluate and treat patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Establish and monitor systems for psychiatric approval, case management, and staff review of client progress.
- Develop and maintain consultation and referral systems with physicians and other providers within the Center and community.
- Provide telepsychiatric services and face-to-face consultations as needed.
- Participate in community services programs and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Lead inpatient services with assistance from designated inpatient managers.
- Prepare necessary reports and contribute to the Professional Standards and Practices Committee.
- Complete Patient Safety Training curriculum and perform other duties as assigned.
- MD/DO degree from an accredited university.
- Completed ACGME-accredited residency training in Psychiatry.
- Board eligible or certified as a Psychiatrist Physician licensed to practice in the State of Missouri.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
