Restaurant Manager Job Description

Hooters of America LLC is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Hooters of Potomac Mills location. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage various areas of responsibility within the operation, including hospitality, guest satisfaction, safety, cleanliness, drink presentation, and atmosphere.
  • Assist the General Manager in ensuring operations run efficiently and according to company policy and standards.
  • Ensure vendors and suppliers are properly compensated and meeting the needs of the business.
  • Assist in the selection of Front of House and Back of House employees.
  • Support the training and development of restaurant employees.
  • Manage the performance of all hourly employees, with an emphasis on Front of House employees, to ensure they are successful in their individual roles.
  • Assist in the completion of general business administration, including payroll, human resources, marketing, and financial reporting.
  • Promote the business, build sales, increase profits, ensure guest satisfaction, and brand integrity.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of full service restaurant management experience in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Successfully completed food safety/sanitation training
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • General knowledge of full service restaurant operations/hospitality industry
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Strong operational skills in a customer-service and hospitality environment
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Intermediate mathematical computations skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to manage changing priorities
