Position Overview:

We are looking for a qualified and proactive Permanent Staff Accountant to enhance our accounting department.

The successful candidate will oversee our financial records and collaborate closely with the accounting team to generate financial statements, guide our investment strategies, and formulate plans for fiscal advancement.

The Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and must exhibit the ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced office setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and prepare accounting documentation and records.
  • Timely reconciliation of accounts.
  • Accurate daily entry of financial transactions into the database.
  • Provide support and assistance to company staff.
  • Investigate, track, and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Compile reports and summaries for management on various activities.
  • Adhere to established standards, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Continuously enhance job knowledge.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct general bookkeeping tasks.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Assist with tax audits and the preparation of tax returns.
  • Manage internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
  • Plan, assign, and review the work of staff members.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position.

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Netsuite, Great Plains, and other relevant accounting software.
  • Strong skills in reconciling accounts, records, reports, and other business documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lead and supervise effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • CPA certification is advantageous.
