Anesthesia Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of the anesthesia care team, you will assist the anesthesia provider in providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the setup and application of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Monitor and maintain anesthesia equipment, including quality assurance and troubleshooting.
- Prepare and apply patient warming modalities as needed.
- Participate in problem identification and resolution, quality improvement, and staff development.
- Manage work assignments to ensure completion of patient care activities.
- Coordinate patient monitoring equipment availability with PACU and Critical Care units.
- Work with perioperative team to facilitate a prompt room turnover.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an Accredited program in Anesthesia Technology with an AS degree OR certified by the American Society of Technologists and Technicians (ASATT), as a Technologist.
- I.V. Certification OR Anesthesia Technician Certificate from American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- Basic Life Support.
