Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team. As a key member of the anesthesia care team, you will assist the anesthesia provider in delivering high-quality patient care.

• Assist with the anesthesia plan of care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Perform patient care activities, including setup, application, and assistance with anesthesia equipment.
• Collaborate with the anesthesia provider to ensure seamless patient care.
• Respond to emergency situations, such as Code Blue and Code Pink.
• Prepare and apply patient warming modalities as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs.
• Manage work assignments to ensure completion of patient care activities.
• Assemble and prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Utilize sterile technique to set up and assist with invasive monitoring equipment.
• Coordinate patient monitoring equipment availability with PACU and Critical Care units.
• Work with the perioperative team to facilitate prompt room turnover.

• Graduate of an accredited program in Anesthesia Technology with an AS degree or certified by the American Society of Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) as a Technologist.
• High School Diploma.
• I.V. Certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Anesthesia Technician Certificate from American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians.
• Basic Life Support.
