Job Title: Food Service Worker

Join NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. as a Food Service Worker and be part of a team that provides exceptional service to our customers. As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our school kitchen, preparing and serving food, and ensuring that our customers receive excellent service.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Wash objects by hand or with cleaning equipment, clean dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Food Preparation: Assist cooks and others as needed, prepare food or cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats, and other menu items.
  • Stocking and Serving: Stock storage areas with various products, remove garbage from assigned areas, and set up or break down tables, snack bars, display cases, and serving lines.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Clean, sweep, wipe down, and maintain all general dining, kitchen, and storage areas, as well as equipment and floors.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Requirements: Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent, at least one year of work experience or documented vocational training in cleaning equipment, food preparation, and general cleaning processes.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Weather: Indoor/Outdoor (Occasional exposure to extreme weather)
  • Noise Level: Moderate
  • Office Conditions: Pace of work environment: Medium
  • Customer Interaction: High
