Job Title: Junior Decorator

Pembrooke & Ives, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Junior Decorator to join our design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the efforts of our design team to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and contractors.
  • Prepare and develop project drawings, including furniture plans, custom furniture drawings, elevations, lighting plans, and custom decorative finish drawings using CAD.
  • Assist in the production of 3D models and renderings.
  • Prepare and develop project documentation, including room schemes, room sheets, decorating budgets, and decorating schedules.
  • Place final orders on behalf of clients and expedite long-lead items to ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee the installation of all decorative items.
Requirements:
  • Possess a high taste level and knowledge of high-end market trends.
  • Good time management skills and ability to handle multiple project deadlines.
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Foundational knowledge of interior design principles and practices.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design.
  • At least 1 year of demonstrated work experience with Interior Design and/or Architectural Firms.
