Key Responsibilities- Anchor newscasts and deliver scripted and ad-lib material with polish, personality, and purpose.
- Develop and maintain a strong online presence through social media engagement and interact with the audience in a conversational manner.
- Work closely with reporters and producers to produce high-quality newscasts and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Summarize complex information into easy-to-understand components and present it in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintain journalistic integrity and ethical standards in all interactions and appearances.
- Represent the station at public events and engage with the community.
- Professional experience anchoring news programs and a strong demo reel that showcases everyday work.
- Ability to connect with viewers and deliver news stories in a compelling and engaging manner.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including overnights and weekends, and adapt to changing deadlines and priorities.
- Strong digital media and social media skills, with experience working with online platforms and tools.
- Unwavering commitment to journalistic integrity and ethical standards.
- Related military experience will be considered.
