Real Estate Portfolio Analyst

At NAIOP SoCal, we're seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Portfolio Analyst to join our team. This role plays a critical part in the success of our organization, and we're looking for someone with a strong background in real estate credit and portfolio management.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with our Portfolio Managers across various credit strategies. You'll be responsible for monitoring loan-level performance, forecasting fund-level returns, and maintaining portfolio-level reports. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in driving business growth and ensuring the success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor loan-level performance and ongoing execution of property-level business plans across the portfolio.
- Forecast fund-level performance/returns based on projected fund liquidity analysis, loan performance, repayment assumptions, and valuations of loans.
- Maintain, or create as necessary, portfolio level summary reports to manage or analyze portfolio performance, diversification, risk mitigation, etc.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze portfolio analytics for purposes of new loan originations, valuations, and financing strategies.
- Manage credit allocation log and worksheet process on an ongoing basis.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in real estate credit/lending, portfolio/fund management, or real estate acquisitions.
- A good understanding of institutional real estate investment fundamentals.
- Strong financial and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with solid business writing skills.
