About the Role

Stryten Energy - North America is seeking a skilled Electrical Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot complex issues with machine vision systems, ultrasonic welding equipment, and automation equipment.
  • Collaborate with plastic process engineers to identify problems, troubleshoot, and optimize injection molding machine performance.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase production speed while maintaining quality and uptime.
  • Program changes as required for new product systems implementation and continuous improvement projects.
  • Validate and update equipment calibration procedures, as well as create electrical drawings as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong oral, written, computer, and communication skills.
  • High degree of electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to solve issues related to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical operations.
  • Experience with robotic control systems and ability to commission and troubleshoot equipment using applicable software.
  • Able to make major source code changes as required for continuous improvement projects.
  • Demonstrate ability to read, interpret, and create electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Understanding of network topologies, protocols, and related equipment.
Competencies, Skills, and Knowledge
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, MS Windows environments, and Autodesk Electrical.
Education
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, Technical School preferred.
Compensation

$37.13 per hour
