About the Role:

Centra Credit Union is pleased to announce an opening for a Business Intelligence Reporting Specialist. This role is pivotal in enhancing data utilization; it involves analyzing business data challenges, whether related to systems or processes, and devising effective solutions to mitigate operational risks. The position focuses on implementing efficiencies and ensuring data integrity controls while serving as a bridge between various business units and departments to foster consistency throughout the organization. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect data from various internal and external sources and evaluate business and user requirements in collaboration with business leaders and end users.
  • Examine intricate business challenges and determine how automated systems can be utilized to address them.
  • Generate comprehensive reports using data reporting tools and provide insights based on the analysis.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to Senior Management effectively.
  • Engage in proactive risk identification through collaboration with business lines and peers, presenting concerns to management for awareness.
  • Support regulatory and compliance initiatives.
  • Update, modify, develop, and automate new reports using query and data visualization tools.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, collaborating with both individual contributors and senior managers.
  • Drive continuous process enhancements, leading to increased operational efficiencies.
  • Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and other departments.
Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Three to five years of related experience, including preparatory experience.
