Electrical Test Technician

At S&C Electric, a 100% employee-owned company, we are committed to delivering high-quality products that protect the critical infrastructure of the power grid. As an Electrical Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and test IntelliRupter products based on documentation, including bills of material, blueprints, and change notices provided by the engineering staff.
- Complete testing at timing stations and run switch through 4 operations stations.
- Perform mechanical work, including disconnect assemblies.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical issues.
- High voltage electrical experience is required to run the required test cells. 5KV / 3phase.
- Demonstrate the ability to work from complex blueprints, wiring drawings, schematic diagrams, and specifications.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience to troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues.
- Demonstrate experience using and operating machining tools, hand-held tools, wiring equipment, wrenches, torque tools, and other tools.
- Two years of experience in electronic assembly and wiring with 5KV.
- 2 year technical degree preferred.
- Candidates with electrical or mechanical trade school education may also be considered in lieu of experience.
