About the Role

As a Critical Care Assistant Nurse, you will be an integral part of our team providing exceptional patient care at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. This 16-bed TSICU, trauma surgical unit, requires professionals who can provide high-quality care to critically ill patients from various medical backgrounds.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for collecting patient specimens and data, documenting patient care, and performing procedures as delegated by a licensed professional.
  • Receptionist/clerical duties will also be part of your responsibilities to support overall operating efficiency, maintain patient records, and ensure that all reports and chart forms are scanned or filed into the patient's record.

Requirements
  • A High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge is required.
  • Current BLS certification and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure in the state of practice are mandatory.
  • Preferred qualifications include Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) licensure, recent healthcare experience, and successful completion of an approved unit secretary program.
