Indirect Sourcing Manager

HarbisonWalker International is seeking a highly skilled Indirect Sourcing Manager to join our Supply Chain team. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for managing our MRO, capital expenditures, and plant fleet mobile equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global category management strategies to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Identify and qualify suppliers for indirect categories, including MRO, CAPEX, and facilities services.
  • Generate and manage new project and productivity ideas based on strategic analysis.
  • Participate in business planning and performance workshops with key supplier partners.
  • Lead contract negotiations to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Partner with global peers to generate global supply strategy and extract maximum value.
  • Support the HarbisonWalker Business System (HBS) by identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Science, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer operation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assemble and quickly analyze data.
  • Knowledge of E Sourcing, contract writing, and project management.
  • Strong supplier negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
  • Experience in quantitative analytics and delegation.
  • CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) Certification preferred.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of professional experience with commodities purchasing, including high-level negotiation experience.
